Minister Marsha Parson is a God fearing woman who is committed to living a life that is pleasing and acceptable to him. She is the biological mother of two and a mentor, an Encourager and a spiritual mother to many others. Minister Parson is a certified Life Coach and a Spiritual Advisor. She is the co-founder and former co-pastor of the New Life Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has served as the Spiritual Advisor to SSS (Sisters Standing Strong, Inc.) and is the co-founder of The Encouraging Hour (an at work lunchtime bible study). She is the author of a short read “Forgive 2B Forgiven”.
Min. Parson is the sole founder of an online ministry designed for both men and women, where she is fondly referred to as The Encourager. Through adversities of her own, Minister Parson begin to see the hearts of God’s people and realized that so many were hurting and struggling to make sense of their lives and to apply his word to their personal circumstance, romance and finance. It is then that she received a heartfelt passion to minister to an individual's mind, body and spirit by sharing the word of God in the way of “hands on” workshops, sharing her personal experience as the Lord leads and teaching and preaching the simplicity of the Gospel in order to inspire others to be all that God has purposed them to be.
She is an advocate for marriage and an inspirational speaker who has the passion for assisting others in picking up the broken pieces of their lives in order to live a full and PURPOSEFUL life before the Lord, hence, living life on purpose and with purpose. Her favorite past time is “Tea Time”, which is her devotional time with the Lord. “Tea Time” is not about the beverage, but about the time set aside to honor God by devoting time alone with him. It is during “Tea Time” that The Encourager online ministry was birthed. One of her favorite scriptures is: Job 27:5 "God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.”
